Create A Members Area
It's easy to create a "members-only" section with Recite CMS.
- Create a new user directory. This is where user details are stored. You can have any number of user directories in Recite CMS.
- Create a registration form and a login form. Recite CMS comes with templates to display these forms, or you can create custom templates.
- Create a "members only" page in your site.
- Set the "members only" page permissions so only users in your new user directory can access it.
- Use "Container Management" mode to add the forms to your site.
That's it! Just like everything else in Recite CMS, it's easy to get started, but you can also further customise your site as required. Some examples in this case:
- Create a custom "welcome" email (either in plain text or in HTML).
- Add a note to your site template to let the user know when they're already logged in.
- Allow users to be automatically logged-in next time they visit the site.
